Product Strategist Job Summary:

The Product Strategist will lead the management of an existing B2B product portfolio and the development of new products and services. The candidate will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, as well as collaborating with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and business goals. This role will also be responsible for responding to Data Security risk assessment requests by clients, prospects, and other third parties. The candidate will respond to these questionnaires and requests in a timely manner, and work closely with the technical staff to remediate any findings or control gaps found. The candidate will also be available for technical sales calls and communicate with sales and marketing staff on new features and functionality provided in any technical products OutSolve provides.


Candidate Profile:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software development engineering, design, and data security, preferably in a software or technology company
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience with HR technologies or other B2B services
  • Experience in the Private Equity sector

 Core Work Activities

  • Formalize and manage all product roadmaps
  • Communicate the product value proposition and progress to stakeholders – especially Marketing & Sales
  • Formalize and manage all Data Security policies, initiatives, and work closely with OutSolve’s technical staff and Restech, OutSolve’s third party network services MSP.
  • Communicate data security refinements\improvements to stakeholders – especially Marketing & Sales
  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure timely and efficient development of product data security and privacy controls.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
  • Oversee the integration of digital technologies into all areas of the business, including marketing, sales, product development, and operations.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies, ensuring the company remains competitive in a rapidly changing landscape.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define and refine the company’s long-term strategy and business goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and manage the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors to drive business growth.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, and new product development
  • Additional Responsibilities, Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
