Pay Equity Statistician

Overview

Tremendous opportunity to be an expert within an established EEO consulting firm. The candidate would lead OutSolve’s efforts in pay equity analyses and multiple forms of EEO/Affirmative Action statistics.  This person must be able to analyze employment and compensation data for clients to determine if systemic issues exist. 

 

Candidate must have great communication skills and would be required to speak to clients regarding analysis results and provide recommendations for salary adjustments to eliminate pay issues.  The candidate will also prepare blog posts, articles, and webinar presentations for client or staff consumption on the subject of compensation best practices, how best to avoid pay equity disparities, as well as other pertinent statistical focused topics.  The candidate would also provide a supporting role to OutSolve consultants when speaking with clients related to the Department of Labor audits, EEO statistics, and compensation reporting.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ph.D. Labor Economist, Statistician or Masters in I/O Psychology (with emphasis on statistics)
  • Ability to perform Regression analysis (including Stepwise regression), T-tests, Mann-Whitney Tests, etc. to analyze compensation data on multiple factors.
  • Previous work with statistics applications such as JMP or SPSS required
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Communication skills – ability to present and speak with clients and staff
