Customer Care Manager

Job Summary

The Customer Care Manager will serve in the role of inside sales and account management. This position is responsible for generating new business and enhancing current services with existing customers and ensuring a great customer experience. The Customer Care Manager will work with the Sales and Production Departments to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied. The Customer Care Manager will initiate and maintain favorable, informed relationships with clients in a pro‐active manner.


General Accountabilities

  • Maintain client retention rate above 95%

  • Serve as liaison for sales and consulting staff regarding client updates and needs
  • Assist with onboarding clients that are the result of an acquisition
  • Understand customers' needs and identify sales opportunities
  • Follow up on client requests, manage client contract renewals, and upsell services
  • Maintain Customer Relationship Management Database (HubSpot)
  • Maintenance expertise in all product/service lines
  • Review customer complaints and concerns and seek to improve the customer experience. Coordinate with Marketing Department to generate customer events, services, surveys, etc.
  • Participate in conferences and training
  • Travel <10% of the year 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience: One to three years with inside sales and/or account management experience required. Human Resource service/product sales experience preferred.
